Otis Gray, 83, of Hoxie, Arkansas passed on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at St. Bernard's Hospital. He was born May 2 1928 in Sedgwick, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his biological parents, Sam and Alice Gray, Guardians Maudie and Linus Lamb, several brothers and sisters. Throughout his life, Otis, enjoyed fishing hunting and family fish-fry's. He had a small circle of family and friends to whom he devoted all love and time. He was involved in his community by serving as a councilman, Fire Chief, and Police Department Dispatcher.
He was retired from the Crain Company in Jonesboro and as a radio dispatcher from the Hoxie Police Department and a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
He was united in marriage to Demetra (Mickey) Erwin January 11, 1964.

Survivors include his wife, Mickey (Demetra) Gray of the home; a son Mike and Donna Pinkston of Walnut Ridge; a daughter, Reva and Sam Pierce of Monroe, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Steve, Stephanie, Mya, Samantha and Scottlyn; three great grandchildren, Kady, Nadia and Piper; and many other relatives and friends.
