Johnie E. Stone, 91, of Walnut Ridge, passed away Monday, February 06, 2012 at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab.

Born August 19, 1920 at El Paso, son of Elmer and Vera Campbell Stone. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II, a self-employed gravel hauler and of the protestant belief.

He was preceded in death by former wives, Pauline Holder and Henrietta Massey, his parents, a grandson Kim, seven siblings, Elza, Paul, Aubrey, Thelma, Velma, Dallion and Oran.

Survivors include seven daughters, Linda (James) Debow of Hoxie, Joan Stout of Walnut Ridge, Brenda (Billy) Birmingham of Scappoose, Oregon, Janie (David) Carlile of Paragould, Cyndi (Ronnie) Wood of Paragould, Jennifer (Mike) Graves of Marmaduke, Lisa (Ben) Foley of Walnut Ridge; two sons, Larry (Beverly) Stone of Tonganoxie, Kansas and Gary (Amelia) Stone of Anthem, Arizona; eighteen grandchildren, Jim, Angel, Dawn, Kelly, Samantha, Amy, Lindsey, Tasha, Trevor, Garrett, Hunter, Erika, Tiffany, C J, Jacey, Brittany Spencer, and Shyanne; fourteen great grandchildren. two brothers, Charles Stone of Jonesboro and William Stone of Las Vegas, NV and a sister Bernice Grey of Oklahoma.
