Betty Lucille (Gates) Deen, 71, of Walnut Ridge, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center.
Born January 30, 1941 at O'Kean, daughter of W. E. and Gladys Lucille Gates. She was a homemaker and member of the United Freewill Baptist Church.
She was united in marriage to Charles Alfred Deen June 28, 1975 who preceded her in death April 23, 2008.
Survivors include three sons, Robert and Valarie Deen of Harrison, Dale Deen of Marshall and Frankie Deen of Arkansas; a daughter, Lisa Deen of Arkansas; two brothers, Jasper (Skip) and Lou Gates of Marietta, Oklahoma and Ted and Edwina Gates of Walnut Ridge; a sister, Kathy and Ron Kellett of Hoxie; a granddaughter, Kasha Marchbanks of Ash Flat; many other relatives and friends.
