Alfred Ray Warner, 95, of Hoxie, passed away early Tuesday February 21, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born August 21, 1916 in Hoxie, son of Andrew and Ora Tyler Warner. He was a Farm Machinery Mechanic and member of the United Freewill Baptist Church.
He was united in marriage seventy-one years ago to Lucy Binkley. He was preceded in death by ten siblings and a grandson Mark Warner, and his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy Warner of the home; a daughter, Shirley Heard (Bob) of Hoxie; son, Jerry Warner (Cindy) of Walnut Ridge; two grandsons, Rob Heard (Toni) of Hoxie and Scott Heard of Portland, Oregon; a granddaughter, Dana Moore (Tracy) of Walnut Ridge; four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
