Raymona Melvira Nash, 94, of Searcy, formerly of Jonesboro died January 8, 2012.

She was born July 9, 1917 to Charles and Winifred Taylor Recker in Almyra, AR. She was the longtime owner of Modern Beauty Shop in Jonesboro.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Harriett; brothers Raymond and John William and nephew Raymond Jr.

Survivors include nieces Pauline Cooksey of Hoxie, Bonna George and Shirley Inman both of Greers Ferry, Raylene Wiles of Corning, Dee Niedermeier of Peach Orchard, Debbie Harpole of Memphis, TN, Bobbye Truitt of Pocahontas, Phyllis Smith of Powder Springs, GA, and Willette Thomas of Searcy and many great nieces and nephews.
