Wishing that Candace and I could have attended the homegoing for Mom Alphin. But, in our absence, I wrote a few poems about her. If you would like to read them, please visit the following links:

This lady was "one in a Million", and I was lucky to have known the Alphine family in the 60's in Walnut Ridge, AR. She was a kind and gentle person, who always took time for others. What a wonderful world it would be if there were more Mildred Alphines.

What a great legacy that she leaves for this wonderful family. I give

Even though our paths did not cross on this side, we look to the day when we will meet over there.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mark Alphin Family, our friends and missionaries in Finland, as well as the extended Alphin family.
God be with you all as you reflect on the memories of this dear lady.
